Meet Heather
Heather Angstadt, an enthusiastic and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist, obtained a Master of Arts degree in Speech-Language Pathology from San Jose State University. Her experience is diverse and well-rounded, having worked in the school setting at a non-profit school for children with moderate to severe developmental disabilities, in a pediatric private practice office, in the homes of her clients, and in the online space. Throughout her experiences, she has enjoyed providing nurturing speech and language services to children with a variety of learning differences including Apraxia, articulation, Autism Spectrum Disorders, developmental delays, Down Syndrome, and receptive and expressive language disorders. Additionally, she has experience with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and facilitating social groups both in person and online for pragmatic language and social skills. Heather appreciates the opportunity to connect with children on an individual level and enjoys encouraging and inspiring them to reach their full potential. Her warm, playful therapy style provides a comfortable environment where a child's true ability can shine. Heather believes a collective approach, encompassing the child, family, and other team members are all an integral part of therapy and are key figures in a child’s communication development.
